Heavy-Duty Cylinder Restoration

This project involved a complete refurbishment to restore the cylinder to “as-new” condition. To address damaged trunnion pins, a scored piston rod, worn gland components, and seized bleeds, we performed the following:

Trunnion Overhaul:

Removed the trunnion by machining off the barrel welds, repaired the pins, and precision re-welded.

Custom Fabrication:

Manufactured a new piston rod (chrome-plated over nickel for corrosion resistance), rod end, phosphor bronze gland bush, and air bleeds.

Upgrades:

Installed high-temperature Viton seals for extreme thermal resistance.
Testing: Successfully pressure-tested to 310 bar and professionally refinished.
